THE LONDESBOROUGH STOKE NEWINGTON WEDDING // SHAINEY + TOM
You might remember Shainey and Tom's pre-wedding shoot at the colourful Columbia Road flower market. Couple of months later they had a fun wedding in Stoke Newington. (I love a good Hackney wedding!!).
IF YOU’RE PLANNING A WEDDING AT THE LONDESBOROUGH IN STOKE NEWINGTON, YOU’LL LOVE THIS WEDDING FOR INSPIRATION!
Shainey and Tom got married at Clissold House, which is a 18th-century mansion in the heart of Clissold Park in Stoke Newington. It was such a fun wedding and even the rain moment didn’t dampen the day!
THE CEREMONY
The ceremony was an intimate service in a beautiful room decorated with lots of fragrant flowers by the The Flower Appreciation Society. They are also based locally and actually grow their flowers in Hackney!
During the ceremony they had beautiful readings from friends and family and live music by a singer and guitarist, Kelly Barnes.
THE RECEPTION
After the ceremony full of huge smiles everyone headed for the reception and a party at the Londesborough Pub at Stoke Newington – I love this venue because it’s so cosy and relaxed. Weddings at the Londesborough are amazing, it’s got such a great atmosphere.
They decorated the area with lace bunting, lots of brown card and twine which have it a really happy vibe.
Shainey really wanted for menu to be 100% vegan and the team at The Londesborough really delivered - it was delicious and I'm sure made even the most stubborn meat eaters happy.
The moment DJ Catfight put on music in the evening, dance floor was full and the party was in full swing when I was leaving. Such fun day!
WHY THE LONDESBOROUGH IS A GREAT PLACE TO HAVE A STOKE NEWINGTON WEDDING
The Londesborough has a really laid-back vibe, and is one of the best places to have a wedding in Stoke Newington. The venue is famous for their seriously good food – and there are so many beautiful spots around that are perfect for photos. You can get romantic in the Clissold Park or Abney Park cemetery or shoot in the pretty streets of Stoke Newington.
THE COUPLE
Shainey wore a light and floaty boho dress from Rembo Styling and a beautiful flower crown. Tom was sporting a grey three-piece suit and they looked smashing.
