So here it is - my first wedding in this new world where we have to wear masks and stay away from everyone. After months of no gatherings being allowed at all now you can get married but only in a very intimate setting with just a few closest people (and me if you'd like some great pictures of you saying "I do").

Kelly and Craig managed to postpone their big wedding to summer 2021 but decided to have an intimate ceremony in Hackney Town Hall this year anyway (why not celebrate twice? The world is gone crazy, I'd say go for it and have two parties!).

Even though you have to sanitise your hands on the way in, there are strict rules, one way traffic system in the building and a plexiglass shield between a couple and registrars, Hackney Town Hall team still managed to keep the atmosphere lovely and very friendly.

They didn't have to wear masks but Craig's mum made the embroided ones specially for the occasion so we took some pictures with them for fun.

Hopefully all these added elements won't stay here for long and in a few years couples will just have funny stories about their Covid19 wedding to tell.
