PERSONAL
Travel photography: Lisbon
The plan was different. Today I was supposed to blog the selection of pictures from my Instagram – March was my black and white month and I wanted to show off some of these shots. But I just can’t – have you seen this SUNSHINE outside?! There’s no place for monochrome when the world is so beautiful and warm. All I wanna do it lay on the grass and eat ice cream. Just like in Lisbon last June (yes, the 2014, I’m a bit behind with blogging).
I’m no travel photographer. Don’t expect shots straight from magazines. These are my personal snaps, and frankly I didn’t like them at all right after downloading from my camera, but looking at them now I smile and feel all warm and fuzzy, and wanting to go back to Portugal and summer. So here it is, Lisbon in my eyes. Or rather in eyes of my Canon with 35mm lens on it (took just one fixed lens with me in the name of putting myself out of the comfort zone).
Aggy – my friend and partner in craziness
There is some very important legend regarding these cocks (the ones on picture on the right anyway),
but I really don’t remember a word of it 😉
We were lucky to, completely by accident, land in Lisbon smack in the middle of celebrations of St. Anthony – Lisbon’s saint patron. And what is the better way to honour your saint then decorating your whole city and eat lots and lots of sardines? (yes, there’s a legend here too)
Ride in a famous (and slightly mad) tram no 28
The best selfie in the internet, clearly. Blame those giant mojitos at the street festival.
