I shot weddings all over the city but I absolutely love a nice Hackney wedding. We’ve got lovely Town Halls like beautiful Hackney Town Hall and incredibly sunny Stoke Newintgton Town Hall, and number of fantastic pubs for reception and unique venues like MC Motors, The Londesborough Pub or West Reservoir Centre just to name a few.

I’m not great at blogging regularly but there’s a few lovely Hackney weddings there. 

Of course 2020 due to a certain pandemic was the year of intimate weddings. And that’s when the term ‘micro weddings‘ became part of our every day language. I had a pleasure of shooting a number of lovely Hackney micro wedding celebrations and I can assure you – even without big guest lists and parties, these weddings were beautiful. As we say now #loveisnotcancelled

Here’s Kelly and Craig’s Covid wedding ceremony at Hackney Town Hall.

Even before Covid hit some couples opted for small intimate celebrations, just like Claire and Paul who also got married at the Hackney Town Hall and celebrated in their favourite neighbourhood with closest friends and family members.

Here’s a fully vegan and locally sourced wedding of Shainey and Tom who got married at the Clissold House in Stoke Newington and had the reception at The Londesborough. You can see the blog post here.
